On part II of PedalsAndEffects interview with Tedeschi Trucks/Beat Music bassist Tim Lefebvre, Tim goes over his pioneering octave bass sounds. Tim is not only a known user of legendary Boss OC-2, he also has a few other octave pedals up his sleeve (a custom 3leaf Audio sub octave and a Loud Button Subharmonic Aural Shockwave Generator) that are really helping him come up with some trailblazing tones for the bass.
You can hear some of these bass sounds, in this video or you can check out his performance on Mark Guiliana’s Beat Music The Los Angeles Improvisations cd. Either way, get hip to the hottest bassist on the scene and really one of the coolest dudes I have ever met playing a 4 string.
